My paintings are inspired by the woodland landscape – trees, leaf forms, patterns, water, light and shadow. Working in a semi-abstract, intuitive way, my focus is the ‘in between’ spaces, the unseen layers and energies of Nature. I use oil, acrylic and gloss paint in many layers and textures to create a sense of the liminal space between the seen and the imagined.
